Maggie Steffens
Maggie Steffens was part of Brenda’s team, when she and a dozen teammates secured the first-place price for Team USA. She would continue her feat by participating in Rio de Janeiro and taking home her second gold medal in two attempts. Right now, she’s only 28 years old and showing no signs of slowing down.
The California native is currently serving as the USA women’s water polo team captain in the 2020 Olympics. Before flying off to Japan, she became an advisor for Just Women’s Sports. The website aims to raise awareness about how women should have a bigger role in the world of sports.
