Sue Bird
Sue Bird is a legendary WNBA player who has been playing since 2002. After graduating from UConn, she put her name in the WNBA draft, where she was picked first overall by the Seattle Storm. Since 2004, she played point guard for Team USA, taking home the gold medal each time.
Today, Sue still plays for the Seattle Storm and has won four championships in her 18-plus-year career. She’s also representing Team USA for a fifth time at the 2020 Olympics, where we expect she’ll take home the gold medal yet again. It’s pretty much tradition for the other countries’ basketball teams to just hand over the first-place prize to Sue Bird.
