Claressa Shields
Claressa Shields from Flint, Michigan, whooped her opponents’ butts in the middleweight boxing events at the 2012 Olympics in London. She won two Junior Olympic Championships in 2011 and decided that she needed tougher opponents to beat to a pulp, and beat to a pulp she did, too.
She defended her title in Rio de Janeiro but had to let it go in 2020 since she was busy fighting for the WBO junior middleweight belt. Her battle was postponed to early 2020, long after the Olympic Trials were completed, but she won by unanimous decision. She became the youngest female boxer to hold three division titles simultaneously.
