Marlen Esparza
Marlen Esparza put on the boxing gloves and bested her opponents all the way to the semifinals. At the 2012 Olympics, she won the bronze medal for the USA in the flyweight division, which is her only Olympic medal to date. However, most of her accomplishments were achieved outside of the Olympics ring.
So far, she fought in 11 matches, winning nine of them with one KO. She became the 2014 World Champion in the flyweight division when she took down Clelia Marques in the bottom half. 2017 marked her final professional match against Ibeth Zamora Silva, where she won the WBC flyweight title.
