Seimone Augustus
Seimone Agustus used to play basketball professionally for the WNBA. She was picked first overall in the 2006 draft by the Minnesota Lynx, where she played for 13 years until 2019. In London, she won her second Olympic gold medal. She won another in Rio de Janeiro.
The four-time WNBA champion and Finals MVP in the 2011 season retired from playing professionally in 2019. She secured the spot of assistant head coach for the Los Angeles Sparks in 2021. Throughout her Olympic career, she recorded 48 assists and 179 points. She’s the first cousin of the overseas player, Kodi Augustus.
