Serena Williams
Serena Williams is arguably the more popular of the Williams sisters. She’s done a heck of a lot for the tennis world as both an African-American female pro player. During the 2012 Olympics, she took home two gold medals in women’s singles and doubles, where she partnered up with her sister, Venus.
She has 73 career titles to her name and is currently the 16th best player in the global standings. Serena participated in the 2016 Olympic Games but experienced a shocking loss in the first round, ending her 15-0 winning streak since her first appearance in Athens. She was chosen to participate in the 2020 Olympics but withdrew for personal reasons.
