#20: Direct Your Anger Appropriately
No matter how stressed out you are, yelling or cursing at a restaurant or retail worker is unacceptable. There’s a good chance that your issue is something that has trickled down from upper management, and it’s poor behavior to take your frustration out on someone who had little to nothing do with it.
The next time you feel like losing it, remember that you are speaking to another human being. A human being who may be having a worse day than yours. Ask for resolution, but don’t be an egghead. Aggression is never an attractive quality. Reign it in and ask for a corporate contact instead.
