Nick Drake was a folk genius whose melancholy music found a much larger audience long after his death. He died in 1974 at just 26 years old from an overdose of his prescribed antidepressant medication. Because Drake left no note, and friends said his spirits had seemed better, his death has been debated ever since. Maybe it was an intentional act by a man who had long struggled with depression.
