#1: The Vanishing of Jim Sullivan (1975)
Folk singer Jim Sullivan released an eerie album called U.F.O. back in 1969. The lyrics were strange, hinting at being taken away by aliens. Six years later, life imitated art in the most chilling way. In 1975, Sullivan disappeared while driving through New Mexico. Police found his car abandoned on a remote desert road. Inside were his wallet, money, papers, even his clothes and his guitar. Everything was there except for Jim Sullivan himself. No trace of the folk-rock singer was ever found.
