Ugh, the broken chopstick. This familiar occurrence has the uncanny ability to make one feel utterly incapable of accomplishing a task that was intended to be free of error. Seems simple enough, but sometimes life has a way of unnecessarily complicating things.
Of course, you can ask for a new pair of chopsticks, but isn’t it strange how having to ask for a new set of chopsticks brings a slight feeling of embarrassment? Yes, we all know that it’s no big deal, but we still feel like it was our fault that the chopstick didn’t break into two perfect sticks.
