Not a Lightbulb
Be honest, chances are, if you took a look around your room or office, there would be at least one item that would leave you with questions. What is it? Why is it here? You’ve never known and it’s not in the way so you leave the little object sitting where it is… sometimes for years. That’s what seems to have happened to this fella.
This unidentified item shaped like a lightbulb is actually a fire grenade – used to put out fires. Popular from the mid-1800s to around 1940, they come in all different sizes and shapes. Some older homes have them installed throughout as a method of fire reduction. However, it’s been so very long since any of these fire grenades have been used it’s highly likely they are more dangerous now than they are helpful.
