Rings in the Sky
Most people are immediately curious at anything they see flying in the sky. Whether it’s aircraft, a kite, or a weird cloud, natural curiosity drives us to investigate. As it turns out, this is more common than one may realize. Exploding transformers (no, not the Hollywood robots), are one explanation for the mysterious rings. In truth, they can also be caused by volcanos or smoke stacks. Basically, a cylinder is required to create a smoke vortex ring – which is what we see in the photo.
