Food, but Miniature
While we’re on the topic of admiring food items, let’s talk about how many of us are infatuated by miniature food. Apparently, it’s a common practice in Japan to display the items on your menu in the shop window. There’s just one problem with this: actual food goes rotten very quickly. To combat this, restaurant owners place tiny plastic versions of their dishes on display.

These tiny split peas look like they would fit perfectly in a Japanese restaurant window. Add in a mini salmon fillet alongside a tiny stack of rice, and you have yourself a perfect miniature meal to put on display.
