There are different kinds of main character syndrome I’ve encountered in my life. But it generally leads to an attitude of thinking the world revolves around you, and forgetting other people aren’t just Nonplayer Characters in a game there to serve your interests.

A little empathy and consideration goes a long way for everyone, including yourself. I guess it’s hard to accept that when you have only really ever experienced your own life and aren’t willing to put yourself in other people’s shoes.
