This isn’t really anyone’s fault. Given how reliant every aspect of society is on us having a cellphone, from communication with friends, making sure our children are alright, paying bills, and keeping a job, it’s no wonder we are so attached to our phones. It doesn’t make it much less of a tragedy though.

It’s good for the mind to disconnect every once in a while, as it can really help us learn to live with our thoughts again in a healthy manner, and also just stop and enjoy life and the world around us. The main downside is everyone else around you will be on their phone.
