This next one is a little more controversial – do you think messaging other people while hanging out with your significant other is bad? Some people are just busy and have a lot of relationships with loved ones that they need to juggle. There is no need to be so insecure!
Whatever your opinion is on TWH (texting while hanging out), it’s important to recognize the effect this can have on others. For example, psychologists say it indicates that you’re not giving your SO your undivided attention. Additionally, eye contact is a huge part of communication, so looking at your phone is rude!
