Fake Friends
It’s a sad truth, but it’s important to understand that fake friends are all too common. I’m not talking about the people who have friends that they occasionally see when they could hang out more often. No, I’m talking about the two-faced people who smile to your face, then talk smack about you behind your back.
If you’re friends with someone like this or in a relationship with them, I recommend thinking about how close you want to be with them. After all, if they’re gossiping about others to your face, don’t you think they do the same about you to their friends?! It’s far better to have no friends than fake friends.
