Guilt-tripping is a pretty terrible thing for someone to do, but sadly it’s not that rare. In fact, many psychologists believe that guilt-tripping is so frequent that many people don’t even realize that someone is doing it to them! One of the key signs of this behavior is when someone makes you feel like you owe them something.
Additionally, suppose they come off in a passive-aggressive way or try to without affection from you as a form of punishment. In that case, they’re trying to guilt-trip you. You might also find them acting upset but refusing to tell you what the problem is. If you find some doing this, you may want to reconsider your relationship with them.
