Whichever Reddit user wrote this entry might be surprised to know the truth about this. According to IMDiversity, in 2013 in America, around 43% of women quit their jobs after getting married in order to help raise their children. When you look at countries like India, the figure is even higher!
Only 27% of women over 15 actually have a job in India, whereas 1 out of every 6 Korean women quit their job after marrying. However, it’s not true for every country, as approximately 64% of Chinese women over the age of 15 are in full-time employment. Let’s hope more of them know that they don’t have to choose.
