How much makeup is too much makeup? Just like eyebrows, most people’s perceptions of makeup have massively changed over the years. However, no matter how much people use it, makeup has always been popular – around 106.88 million American women used at least foundation in 2020, according to the Simmons National Consumer Survey.
Additionally, Statista recently reported that the global makeup industry is worth around $80.73 billion, and it’s only continuing to increase! Perhaps this is also why approximately 63% of men believe women wear makeup to “trick” others into thinking they’re more attractive. But men do the same with their beards!
