#14: Big Little Lies (2017-present)
Big Little Lies was never supposed to be a long series. It was created as a mini-series that received a second season for some reason. Even so, the studio ordered an aimless second season, and unfortunately, it ended with a massive cliffhanger that may never be resolved by later seasons. That’s because the director and executive producer Jean-Marc Vallée unfortunately died after a heart attack in 2021. Now that they may never get a real conclusion, a lot of fans wish there hadn’t been a season two.
