#8: Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979-1981)
If you take classic superhero character Buck Rogers and place him in outer space, you get Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. However, instead of fighting baddies on Earth, he is traveling space defeating evil. It was only two seasons but had plenty of famous guest stars among its starry ranks including Peter Graves and Jerry Orbach. There was going to be a reboot series starring George Clooney at one point but it never happened.
