TV shows can make anything seem normal, especially when it comes to unrealistic housing prices. Many of our small-screen favorites somehow managed to live in premium real estate. Looking back, it’s hard not to wonder how they ever paid the rent. These fictional households were a dream come true, even if they weren’t exactly affordable. Did you ever dream of living in one of these iconic homes?

#1: Monica’s Apartment – Friends

Supposedly, the rent was controlled by Monica’s grandma. But there’s no way a (mostly failing) chef and her jobless roommate could realistically afford it. A spacious two-bedroom in New York’s Greenwich Village would’ve cost several thousand a month, even in the ‘90s.
