We don’t have to be the ones to tell you that everything you see on Deadliest Catch isn’t exactly true to life. Sure, the waters might actually be pretty dangerous, and tempers can flare when you stay with people in such close quarters for months at a time. However, in the end, the cast follows a script that they playout for the cameras.
Elliott, who was voted to be kicked off the show, hated every moment where he was portrayed as the bad guy, but there was little he could do to change the script to put him in a more positive light. Also, many of the fights you see on Deadliest Catch? Scripted.
