Justin Tennison’s Peaceful Death
People die suddenly in the Deadliest Catch community. Captain Phil Harris died in 2010 after a stroke seen on video in Season 6. Then, a year later, Time Bandit deckhand Justin Tennison died at age 33 in an Alaskan hotel.
The declared cause of death was sleep apnea issues, but investigators found evidence of possible hard partying the night before. Tennison was a family man who loved his kids and the wild, unpredictable life of a Bering Sea fisherman, according to his cousin Eddie Uwekoolani. The cousin also suggested that the demands of being on Deadliest Catch contributed to Tennison’s demise.
