Not a Fan-Favorite
Unlike many of his reality TV co-stars, Elliott Neese was not a favorite among most of the show’s viewers. Despite his denials, the Deadliest Catch actor has often been the villain of the program. Elliott didn’t help his reputation by having negative interactions with fans of the show on social media.
The Deadliest Catch skipper allegedly harassed followers on Twitter, even those who defended him. Although Elliott wanted it on record that the show’s portrayal of him was inaccurate, hardly anyone was willing to listen to his pleads. In 2015, there was even an online campaign to remove him from the reality show entirely, and that request was granted.
