An Unexpected Death
The Discovery reality series ‘Deadliest Obtain’ is named after the risks fishermen take to catch fish. And, just as its name suggests, several cast members have died over the course of the series, notably adored Captain Phil Harris. A storm killed many additional crew members, and several boats sank.
But one of the show’s producers, Joseph McMahon, was shot dead outside his California home. Joseph had left his home to check a disturbance when he was shot. Stranger still, the man who killed him was found dead in his car with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Is there a curse that the Deadliest Catch crew needs to worry about?
