#5: Slap Bracelets
Slap or snap bracelets were huge in the ’80s. These metal bracelets had a plastic or nylon cover and came in all sorts of funky colors. However, worn or off-brand bracelets could have metal that could cause injury. Because of this, many slap bracelets were recalled or banned in schools. But that just made them seem cooler to us kids! It’s not fashion without a bit of pain.
