In 1982, Steven Spielberg’s E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial was a sensation, making $792.9 million against a $10.5 million budget and becoming an international hit. And we loved this movie! Kids brought in E.T. lunchboxes, had E.T. plushies, and ate Reese’s Pieces by the handful.
