Many travel brochures will put edited pictures on the front to depict a beautiful scene to attract potential tourists. While the scenes are beautiful, it isn’t always quite accurate. It also could be the lighting was perfect when they took the picture, and under different weather circumstances, the view will vary.
The traveler here is complaining about the color of the sand. They claim the sand was yellow in the brochure, and once they were there at the beach, the sand was actually white. While many businesses use editing pictures as a marketing tactic, it also depends on the weather and lighting of when they took the picture.
