Although it seemed like a crazy idea that was only possible in Springfield, in 2013 in Argentina, people actually bought ferrets passed off as poodles. The real-world version included fluffy grooming and steroids. The Simpsons warned us, and yet, somewhere out there, a family still thinks their poodle is acting odd. We are not sure whether The Simpsons acted as fortune-tellers or inspiration here.
