#7: Hitching a Ride
Okay, so we’ve had dogs in shoulder bags, dogs in IKEA bags, dogs in strollers – did I forget something? – and now this. I don’t even know how to explain this. Did someone bring his dog a toy to sit on in the subway? Is that what’s going on in this photo? And why is no one doing anything about this? People are simply ignoring this! What’s going on here? This is weird, even for New York!

In a weird way, the dog seems to be enjoying himself, but this doesn’t change anything, and this is still one of the weirdest things we’ve seen – not just on a subway! Yes, it somehow makes it even more strange that this is on the subway, but even on the street – a dog shouldn’t be sitting on a doll horse. This is not normal or natural in any way.
