#39: That Seems About Right
Okay, let’s be honest – this kind of logic we can see anywhere in the U.S. (and in the world, for that matter). A closed subway entrance seems like your typical day in NY. I wonder how long it takes until someone bothers to do something about it – if the station is closed, it’s not that hard taking down the sign. But why bother changing it when you can leave it like that? At least we get a couple of laughs out of it.
The real question is whether or not the stairs leading up to this exit are still there—imagine climbing up all those subway stairs just to find out the exit was closed! New Yorkers probably know their way around the subway, but what about the poor, puzzled tourists?
