#18: Soundly Sleeping
It sounds pretty crazy, but the number of students who fall asleep during their lessons is much higher than you might think. And it only increases as they get older! Around 6% of middle school kids have admitted to falling asleep in a lesson, while 20 to 30% of high school students did the same. That’s a lot of sleepy students!

When they get to college, this number almost doubles to 50% of students! Perhaps moving the school to a later time is a good thing, as it would certainly prevent incidents like this from happening. Also, any teacher worth their salt knows that intentionally embarrassing a student is never the right course of action.
