Someone spotted these swirly stairs in a public space and thought they belonged on this list. It’s one thing to have wacky stairs at your own house, but putting a safety hazard like this at a public office? What if elderly people need to access these stairs?

Clearly, whoever designed these stairs didn’t have safety in mind. We’d like to see where these stairs are leading because the more we look at this picture, the more we think this staircase is a decorative piece and not a functioning staircase. Which somehow makes it even weirder.
