No Choice
There are a few misconceptions about being CPR certified. One of those misconceptions is that you’re obligated by law to help someone in need. This simply isn’t true since, as logic tells us, you’re not obligated to help anyone with anything, regardless of what certifications you hold.
Would the world be a better place if all CPR-certified people performed CPR whenever possible? Probably, but that’s neither here nor there. What’s most surprising is that a simple Google search will show you that mandated CPR isn’t a thing.
