#34: No, It Isn’t
How ironic is this? A fortune cookie is supposed to support you by saying you’re doing a great job is doing a horrible job. How can you ever trust a fortune cookie like this one? We all know those fortunes are bogus, but at least when they’re placed inside the cookie, there’s the added excitement and element of surprise. Fortune cookies aren’t that tasty, and really, besides these silly fortunes, they don’t have a lot going for them.
This mistake wouldn’t have been as bad if the fortune said anything but “the job is well done.” Imagine this was the cookie they received in the film Freaky Friday – if that was the case, Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis would have never switched bodies, and we wouldn’t have this masterpiece to enjoy at slumber parties.
