The 6th Ring
If you’ve ever wondered what the five Olympic rings stand for, let us tell you. Each ring is a different color from left to right – blue, yellow, black, green, and red. They symbolize the union of the five inhabited continents of the world and the coming together of athletes from all over the world.
No color stands for any continent in particular. Now, in this picture there happens to be a surprise sixth ring in the form of the moon. It’s amazing how it perfectly lined up with the rings and of course, whoever took this picture deserves a pat on the shoulder as well.
