#21: Keeping a regular routine
Routine sometimes gets dismissed as boring, but many people have discovered the opposite. A regular routine can be deeply calming because it reduces the number of decisions a person has to make when energy is already low. Getting up at a similar time, making coffee the same way, taking meals in a dependable rhythm, folding in a walk or a bit of reading, all of that creates a structure the mind can lean on. Predictability is not glamorous, but it can be merciful.
