As technology advances, our wallets have slowly transformed, eliminating items that once felt essential. Many of us carried tools that almost defined our interactions and experiences, but as times change, so do our needs. Let’s take a look at some items we used to carry but have mostly forgotten.

#1: A checkbook register

The checkbook register once was a necessity for managing our finances. We wrote down every check we wrote, keeping a close eye on our balances. This practice helped us avoid overdraft fees and track spending. Today, most people rely on bank apps for transactions and balance checks.
