In this day and age of social media and online shaming, one of the recent victims of online hate has been an entire generation—the Baby Boomers. While they may have some dated attitudes, we believe there’s much to be learned from them as well. Rather than bashing Boomers for a change, people took to the Internet to talk about the few instances where the Boomers actually do make a good point.
#1: Tech for Tech’s Sake
They always tell us that technology exists to simplify our lives, help us cut corners, and enable us to perform tasks with greater ease. Yet it seems that more and more companies interpret that to mean what makes things easier for them, not for the rest of us—their consumers.
Whatever happened to printing off a simple piece of paper with the food items written on it? Why do I have to download an app? I would think twice about going to any restaurant where it takes longer to access the menu than it does to locate the restroom.
