“Back in my day” used to mean a time when “Leave it to Beaver” was popular, not “Family Matters!” It’s hard to accept, but the ’80s and ’90s were so different from today that you gotta pull out that phrase. Your “Walking through ten feet of snow to get to school” is the Internet taking minutes to load a single image. A phone used to be used to call people. Why are those people wheeling me away?
