As a melting pot country, America has a wide variety of different foods. Many countries think of fast food and other unhealthy foods when they hear the word “America” (McDonald’s and KFC probably have something to do with that), but there is so much more than that. For example, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a classic American staple. But do most Americans really eat them?
The answer is yes! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a huge part of many Americans’ childhoods. They’re easy and cheap meals for a busy mother to make their children. And they’re a delicious combination on top of that! We think a lot of non-Americans have a hard time wrapping their heads around such an odd pairing.
