#10: Let’s Spill the T on Tea
America is predominantly a coffee-drinking country—you know, good old Cup of Joe. That’s not to say Americans don’t enjoy a cup of tea now and again, but they use tea for entirely different purposes than other countries do. Instead of using tea for a caffeine boost, most Americans tend to turn to tea for health benefits.
This girl makes a good point. Americans really do use tea for more self-care related purposes! We can’t say as we blame them because teas have various detox and energy-boosting properties. If tea is excellent for self-care, why don’t more Americans drink it regularly? Maybe one of these days it’ll catch on. Until it does, we’re off to prepare another cup of coffee.
