#2: Outdated Mechanics
There’s a reason why old things eventually become antiques. It’s because as time goes by we intend to invent better, more practical version. I’m all for the retro aesthetic but we need to remember that it’s mainly an aesthetic. If only someone was making 2000s cars that look like they’re from the fifties.
