#49: Let Kids be Kids
I wholeheartedly agree with this one. They need to play, and in order for that play to be effective, it needs to be without adult supervision. Most kids can’t feel free to experiment and do silly things when parents are around, and those are things we should be fostering.

The only problem is that these days, we’re much more aware of the dangers. So, does anyone here know how we can balance our kid’s safety with their need for freedom? I’m seriously asking, it’s a dilemma that I’ve been struggling with for quite a while so any help will be appreciated.
