#10: Being the Rightful Owner
I’ve never really thought about this as a right before, but if it is one, it’s a right that I can get around. Is the Right to Tinker framed in the Constitution? Anyone know? One way or another, it seems like today you can’t fully own anything – from your house to your Apple watch.

However, I do have to wonder if one other reason why we don’t more frequently employ our Right to Tinker is that far fewer of us possess the know-how. Not only have machines become way more sophisticated, but the average consumer (at least in this country) has also become more dumb. It’s a very potent combination.
