If you want to feel old, just look at this photo. The payphone is a piece of technology from the past that is being forgotten. If you ask a kid to describe a payphone, he’ll probably look at you with glazed-over eyes and a confused look. These phones simply don’t exists and function in our modern world. 

We can still feel some type of way about the good old-fashioned payphone, though. It’s a relic of the past that many generations still remember using on a regular basis. Of course, the advent of cell phones kind of ruined the purpose of payphones, but we miss the old-school way of communication.
