#2: Sunday Family Dinner
Eating dinner together as a family has become increasingly rare over the years. With work, school, and all the other extracurricular activities, it seems impossible to get the whole family gathered around the dinner table at the same time. Back in the day, many of us had a Sunday family dinner tradition that our parents made us follow religiously.
Sunday family dinner was a popular tradition in many boomer-era households. Sundays were meant to be relaxing days spent at church and home with family. What better way to end the weekend than with a delicious roast at Sunday family dinner? We’re sure some families still keep this tradition alive, but it’s not as commonplace as when we were kids.
