Land Giants Were Once a Thing
So far, we have learned that the blue whale, which still exists, is the biggest animal to ever live. The title of the -largest- dinosaur to ever live goes to the Argentinosaurus. The now extinct animal was discovered in Argentina in 1987- providing the animal with its name.
Everything we know about the animal comes from this discovery, where we dug up a series of bone fragments. And scientists estimate its length was between 100 to 130-feet. It weighed between 50 to 100 tons. I mean, look at this young lady standing beside a piece of a-piece-of-a-leg bone for comparison.
